George Otis Rideout was born on January 3, 1877. He married to Alice Dayton.
He was born in Bath, ME.
He was a mechanic and boilermaker for the Maine Central Railroad, later lived in Fairfield, ME.
It is reported by his grandchildren that George was married twice.
By the second, unknown wife, he supposedly had twin boys, names unknown.

- Myrtle (married to Jeffery or Jeffries, lived in Marblehead, MA, may have moved to New Hampshire, had at least one daughter)
